Dirt: Dead or Alive

Students were given a cup of dirt. They needed to classify the items found in the dirt into 6 groups. Students needed to sketch, in color, and label their items. Then students decided whether the groups were living, once living OR will be living, and never living. There are 4 questions that students need to answer. If this activity was not completed in class then it IS homework.
