Students finished rotating around the room and reading liquid volume of graduated cylinders and beakers.

For each one they had to state how much each line represented and how much total liquid was in the container.

Marshmallow Challenge

Students turned in their Sum-Thing Fruitful lab if they didn't last Friday.
Students then worked together to create the tallest tower to support a marshmallow. Students used 29 pieces of spaghetti, 1 yard of tape, 1 yard of string, and 1 marshmallow.

Students had to create a graph o 6 banana's mass of whole, mass of edible and mass of skin.

Students did a lab using a banana. They collected data on mass of entire banana, edible portion and skin. Qualitative and quantitative observations were also discussed.
