Frog Dissection Day 2

Students spent their second day examing frogs.
They did the actual dissection today.
On Monday students will work on their analysis questions from this lab.

Frog Sandwich

Students labeled their frog sandwich today. Students MUST show up to class tomorrow with a completed frog sandwich  or they will NOT do the frog dissection!

Angiosperms and Frog Sandwich

Students need to finish their analysis for the anigosperm lab if they did not finish in class.
All students need to color their Frog Sandwich and be ready to go tomorrow - no excuses!!

Flower Dissection

Students performed a flower dissection today. They will finish this up tomorrow.
There is no homework.

Angiosperms and Gymnosperms

We worked as a class on angiosperms. Students MUST have the three flowers labeled and the 4 questions on the front completed to participate in tomorrows flower lab.
Homework: Students must complete their anigosperm worksheet and their gymnosperm worksheet

Gymnosperms pages 146-150

Students received gymnosperm worksheets to complete using the plant book and pages 146-150.
There is no homework.

Gymnosperm notes and wrap up

Students took notes on the difference between pines, spruce, fir and juniper.
Students observed the butterfly emergence and the end of the plant cycle.
