Students handed in their capsule lab if they didn't last Friday.
Students then had the entire period to work on the study guide for the upcoming test on Wednesday.

Capsule graph and conclusion

Students worked on their conclusions in class.
If they did not finish in class, then it is homework!

Next week - test will be Wednesday or possibly Thursday - but I'm shooting for Wed!

Calculations and Graph

Students finished up their calculations.
Students then graphed mass vs. velocity. This needs to be completed for homework.

Launch and calculations!

Morning classes launched their capsules.
All classes then began converting feet to meters and then calculated velocity.
Tomorrow we will begin graphing and writing conclusion
Test end of this week: metrics, scientific method, temp, volume, mass, density, graphing, elements

Launch

We were able to launch today!
Students converted feet to meters and then were able to calculate velocity which is just meters/seconds. We will continue this on Monday.
Test at end of next week over all elements, sci mthd, metrics, volume, mass, density - basically everything up to this point.

Students added streamers to their capsules.
Students then had time to complete any work of this past week that they may not have finished.

Alligator Conclusion

Students need to refer to their Scientific Method Notes and look for Conclusion.
Conclusion should be written in paragraph form answering the questions as outlined in their notes.
Students may hand write or do this in Google Classroom.
Homework: This is due tomorrow!

Gator Graphs

Students finished up their Gator Schematic today.
Students then got a sheet of graph paper and need to make a graph of mass/days and their choice of either length or width/days.
This is homework!

We spent all class period working on the Gator Schematic.
There is no assigned homework

Alligator Schematic

Students turned in their capsule cross section which is their ticket to launch their capsule next Monday. No cross section - No launch!
We then spent the bulk of the period working on our big Alligator Schematic

Quiz and Gator Schematic

Students took their quiz today.
Students then worked on their  cross section drawing of their egg capsule. It needs to be neat, labeled and in color. HOMEWORK if not finished - ALL Periods
Periods 5 needs to make their capsule and complete the cross section.

Egg capsule stuffing day!

Periods 1, 2, and 3 made their egg capsules today. Periods 5 and 6 did not have science due to the AB trip.

Students sketched day 1 and last day of gator in their schematic
Students then had the oppportunity to work on their cover schematic.
