Chapter 6 Atomic Structure and Bonds

 I was absent yesterday but students worked on the following.
Students know most of this chapter but there are a couple concepts in here that were new.
Students needed to answer the questions in their spirals and we will continue to work on this today before we start ionic naming.

MontCAS Testing

All students will be taking the MontCAS test today, tomorrow and Thursday during their science class.
We will have regular science class on Wednesday and Friday.

Bonding Electorn Config Quiz 2

Students took their 2nd quiz on bonding and electron configuration.
Needs to be corrected by next Thursday if they got less than 70%

Candy Compounds

Students corrected last night's homework.
Students then began work on "Candy Compounds" with partners. They will finish up tomorrow after the quiz.
