Students finished watching the program "Hunting the Elements" (which is a movie that can be found online) and completed their packet that went with it.

Students left in classes watched the second part of the movie "Hunting the Elements" and worked on answering the questions on their worksheets

Element Tiles

Students presented their element tiles today.
There is no homework.

Electron Configuration

Students took notes on Electron Configuration and then wrote out the electron configurations for elements 1 -36

Element Tiles Research

Students spent the class period using books and computers to research their element. Their research should be completed  by the end of class as there really wan't that much to find.
Today was the end of in class time for this project.
Now everything else must be completed at home.
Again, these are due Tuesday February 13th!

REMINDER: Last day for test corrections is Wed Feb 7 after school!!

Students received an element that they must research and then create an Element "Tile"
This is due on Tuesday February 13th.

Periodic Table

All classes continued with the Periodic Table Schematic.
All students got their test back from last Friday. Anyone with a grade less than 30 (D and F) needs to come in before or after school and make corrections to increase their grade. They have until next Wednesday!!
