Students predicted how unkown substance would layer in one beaker.
Students then calculated densities for a variety of substances and answered questions on it.

I was out sick yesterday. Students watched a video and worked on a sheet that goes with the video. This video was not finished in class but will be completed in another week.

Welcome back to School and Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a wonderful break!
Today we refreshed our memories on properties of water - surface tension, cohesion, adhesion.
Tomorrow and Friday we will experiment with these properties.
