Christmas and Atomic Models

Classes were very short today.

I gave my students the Atomic Model Guidelines. If students need something to do over the break this is a perfect activity. It is not due until Wednesday January 9th.
Please please DO NOT spend money. Find items in your junk drawer etc.

We enjoyed a Christmas concert in the morning.
In the afternoon we had a Blitz Day - so students who havd all their work turned in could go to do a fun activity. Students missing work were assigned to go to a work room.

We were able to launch today!
Students converted feet to meters and then were able to calculate velocity which is just meters/seconds. We will continue this on Monday.
Test at end of next week over all elements, sci mthd, metrics, volume, mass, density - basically everything up to this point.
