Significant Figures

Students corrected sheets from yesterday.
Today students took notes on adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing sig figs and then were given a worksheet. This worksheet is homework if not completed in class.

Students finished their graph in class today.
Students then had time to work on their conclusion. If this is not finished in class then it is homework. The outline for the conclusion is in their spiral under Scientific Method Notes.

Egg Capsules

Students converted feet to meters, and then calculated speed d(m)/t(s) for their egg capsules.
Students then worked on a graph of mass vs speed - we will finish this in class tomorrow.

Capsule Launching

All classes finished launching capsules today and we know who lived and died!

Molecular Scketches

Shortened classes.
All classes worked on their Alligator Molecular sketch in their schematics.
Hopefully, this will finish up tomorrow and we will begin our lab report.

Molecular Sketch

Students worked in their schematics sketching the molecular configuration of the polymer that makes up the alligator.
Capsule sketches, gator graphs need to be completed!

Capsules and Alligators

We are working back and forth between finishing up our Gator Lab and starting our Egg Capsule.
So.....Alligator graphs should have been finished up last night. Today we worked on a molecular schematic of the gator.
Homework: Students need to sketch in color the inside of their capsule! Neat and IN COLOR.
Bring in capsule stuffing and eggs for later this week.

Alligator Graphs

Students did not bring in their 2 liter bottles so we could not work on them today.
Hopefully, we will be able to tomorrow.

Students finished their Alligator Schematics today. I will be grading these on Monday so they have time to continue work on them at home if they need to.

Today is the last day of measuring our gators.
Students then sketched their gators onto their schematics.
Students then received 2 sheets of paper on table and graphs. Students had time in class to work on these and if they did not finish then it is homework.
