Last day of rocket construction

Today was the last day that students are able to work on their rockets in class. If they are not finished today they need to be completed at home and brought in on Wednesday!

Students worked on their rocket schematic and were given information about rockets and then had to complete a worksheet.
Monday students must have 2 two liter bottles and stuffing for their capsules!

Students finished testing today! No more testing this year!
Students began working on Rocket Launcher Schematic and will continue with this tomorrow and possibly Thursday.
Students need TWO 2 liter bottles to make a capsule and rocket that we will launch.

Stomp Rockets and Bowling

Periods 1,6 and 8 played around with Stomp Rockets and tried to get them into the target of the garbage can.
Periods 2 and 3 had fun bowling.

Tower Calculations and Conclusion

Students calculated strength to weight ratios to determine which tower was the strongest.
Then students needed to write a conlcusion following the conclusion steps in their scientific method notes from the very beginning of the year.
