Today I did a demo on sublimation - soled to a gas - using dry ice.
I made Boo Bubbles which the students tried to bounce.

Students watched a movie on "Absolute Zero" and took notes.

Alligator Schematic

Alligator Lab was due today.
Students that did not turn it in or turned in something that was a failing grade will be placed on ICU.
If students did not finish the schematic today then they needed to bring it home and finish over their long weekend.

Alligator Graphs and Conclusion

Students worked on their graphs and conclusion for their Alligator Lab

Alligators

Students took their last measurement of their alligators.
3 graphs need to be made: length, height, and density which is mass vs volume.
Students then started to assemble all of these materials into a "booklet"
Tomorrow we will work on the conclusion
This project is due on Wednesday!!

Today was day one one of our Alligator Lab.
Students conducted different measurements on their alligators.
The alligators will be place in water and students will measure them every day.
There is no homework but quiz on Friday can be on any element 1-36, mass, volume, length and scientific method
