Students mounted Scientific Summer on construction paper and then we hung them up.
Students set up their spirals for the year.

Multiple Intelligences

Students took a survey on Multiple Intelligences to see how best they learn.
Students then graphed their choices.

Classroom Safety and Blog/Instagram

Students learned safety procedures in class.
Students were given blog and instagram addresses. I need the waiver signed to be able to post pictures.
Students worked together to build the tallest tower to support 1 golf ball.
Scientific Summers is due on Wednesday

Supplies & Scientific Summer

Students received their Welcome Letter which includes the supply list.
Students need their Science spiral and pocket folder by Monday.
Also, students received their first assignment which is homework. They need to write two paragraphs about their "Scientific Summer" and include a picture of themselves. This is due Wednesday August 31

First Day of School 2016

Welcome to 8th grade Physical Science!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful summer and is ready to be back in school.
I am really looking forward to this year and getting to know all of you.
I have lots of fun and exciting activities planned and cannot wait to get started!
