Tower Crushing

Today students were able to participate that had their small tower sketches completed.
We kept data in the data table for mass of tower and amount tower held.

Yellowstone Movie

We were suppose to crush towers today - instead we watched a movie on Yellowstone.
Due to the number of students that did NOT complete the pre-crush sketch I have postponed this until tomorrow. Students that did not get this done definitely have homework.

Small Tower Sketches

Periods 3 and 4 were testing.
Periods 1 and 2 and 6 drew their small tower sketches which must be done in order to compete in tower crushing on Wednesday and Thursday.
Period 8 had time to catch up on work.

Small Tower sketches

Periods 1 and 2 were testing.
The rest of the classes worked on creating a sketch of their tower. Every student needs to have this sketch completed - even those that worked in pairs - each person needs to do this to compete in tower crushing.

Tower Construction

Students continued and/or finished their towers today.
Students then worked on a tower graph that will need to be completed before they can participate in the contest. This is NOT homework.

Tower sketch and building

Students finished their tower sketches today. I will begin grading these on Thursday so students need to finish for homework the next two nights if needed.
Students then began constructing their towers.
