We had a speaker today, Amy Singer, who spoke to us about Pluto and Beyond.
This will get students thinking about space and getting ready to prepare for "Egg Drop" coming this week.

Layering Liquids and Trout Sketch

Students finished layering the liquid densities.
Students then began their Trout Life Cycle diagrams in their Science Booklets

Students went to the gym 1st period for an assembly on our new school wide recycling program that we are going to implement here at Will James
All classes watched a video on Recycling.

Students rotated through stations calculating volume and densities of various cylinders.  This assignment will be continued on Monday
All Water Station sheets should be turned in.
Density calculation sheets should be turned in except for Period 2 which has this for homework.

Water Station Questions & Density

Periods 1 & 3 handed in their Water Station sheets and questions. They then did a density worksheet.
Period 2 will hand Water Stations in tomorrow.
Periods 6&8 worked on water station questions in class and whatever is not finished is homework. They got the density sheet and need to finish for homework if not finished.

Students then read pages 102-106 and took notes.

Alligator Folders

Students worked on completing their Alligator Labs.
They received a piece of construction paper for their cover.
They received a notecard to write their hypothesis on.
All relevant items need to be pasted into their folders.
Conclusions need to be written according to their Scientific Method Notes - Conclusion - from their spiral.
Homework: Finish if not done in class
