I was out of school yesterday.
Yesterday students spent the entire period completing a worksheet based on pages 55-62 which we read on Wednesday. Students also answered questions 1b, 2c, and the "writing in science" on pg 62.
This was homework if they didn't finish.

Catch-up day

Egg-speriment
Students observed what happened to their egg after being in colored water. Today students put their egg in salt water to see what will happen.
Homework due Friday:
Students need to finish both sides of the worksheet "Looking inside cells".
One student from each egg group needs to bring in 150ml of a liquid of their choice.

Today was day one for the egg-speriment in which we are using chicken eggs to model what the cell membrane does when exposed to certain liquids.
Students DO have homework which is to finish coloring their cell diagrams.
To access their cell books on-line their username should be firstname.lastname and their password
should be science!. please check your emails guys to help you remember!

Cell worksheets and cell color sheets

For a review students corrected their worksheets from the Thursday before break on cells and cell organelles. Students then continued with their cell coloring.
