Volume Lab Practicum Part A

Students worked in partners and worked on a volume lab to figure out how much each line represents on a graduated cylinder. Once they had this determined(and many were incorrect) they needed to figure out the average number of drops it takes to make 1 milliliter of water. This information all needed to be put into a small chart.  Some students will need to come in before or after school to work on this in class.

Quiz

Students took a pop quiz on volume measurement.
There is no homework.

Volume Lab Part C

Students finished up Part B and then worked on Part C.
If students did not answer the three problem questions and /or finish writing their steps then it is homework and due tomorrow.

Yesterday we corrected Metric Length and students handed it in. We then did an observation of the Alveins.

Today students observed the alevins, sketched a picture and made a prediction of when they would lose their yolds.
We then started on mass. We completed a sheet together on how to use a triple-beam balance. There is no homework.
