Study Guide Review

We reviewed some of the questions from the study guide. Students continued to work on them the rest of the class.Tomorrow is the test!
I will have a study/review session from 7:30 - 8:00 tomorrow morning.

What's for Lunch? Ballon lab

Students wrote up the balloon lab today.
Students answered questions 1-5 on page 97 and turned them in.
Students then began the next assignment which is a review or study guide of protists and fungi.
Students began to answer the following questions on pages 99-100
1-5
6,7,9,10
11,13, 15-18
21-25
Students should be done through question 10 and we will finish the rest in class tomorrow.
There will be a test on Friday.

Whats for lunch?

Students worked on Day 2 of the yeast lab. Balloons were placed over the bottles and circumferences were measured. We will finish this lab up tomorrow. There is no homework.

Bread mold conclusion

Students worked on their conclusion for their Bread Mold experiment. They needed to write three paragraphs. The first paragraph needs to state the problem and their procedure. The second paragraph needs to explain their results and state 3 possible errors. In their third paragraph they needed to explain what they would do differently next time. This was finished in class but it is homework if they did not finish.

Protist Microscopes

Students use microscopes to look at various protists.
For each protist they had to sketch, in color, state the specimen, state the power of magnification and list two characteristics of their protist.
