Fish Hatchery Trip
The Fish Hatchery Trip for Thursday has been canceled due to flash flood warnings and torrential rain. I am trying to reschedule and will let you all know as soon as I can.

Biome Projects
Students are continuing research on their biomes. We have computers today, Friday and Monday.
We had our first butterfly emerge today!
Tomorrow is the field trip to the fish hatchery. Students MUST bring raincoats, warm jackets, water, lunch, snacks, and their Trout Book! Send wishes for sunshine!!

Biome Project
Students wrote their conclusion on seed growth.
Students then broke into groups to begin their Biome Project. Students will be working on this project all of this week and part of next.

Angiosperms
Students observed their seedling growth, the colored xylem in their celery and took notes on differences in conifer needles and cones.
Students then read pages151-157 on angiosperms(flowering plants) and worked on the worksheet which needs to be finished for tomorrow.
Tomorrow we need tulips to dissect so...if you can spare one or two from your yard that would be wonderful!! Lily, daffodil will work as well.
